Interested in game development and want to show off your game?
Rensselaer Game Showcase is a chance for RPI students and those in the surrounding Troy community to demo their games to the rest of the RPI community. Projects submitted are entered for a chance to win prizes from Pastime Legends. Submissions can include video games, game prototypes, board games, and other interactive programs.
The event takes place on December 2nd from 1pm - 6pm in the RPI Union McNeil Room. If you’re interested in exhibiting at RGS, please let us know by filling out the small form below. You can optionally put down your email to be added to a special mailing list for receiving updates about the event and future info on showcase submission and setup.
The hard deadline for any showcase submissions is November 25th. To be eligible to have your team name on the RGS 2017 t-shirt and be guaranteed a large monitor for presenting your project on, there will be an earlier submission deadline on November 11th that will require a gameplay demo/video.
We’re also looking for t-shirt designs. The winner’s design and design credit will be featured on the RGS 2017 shirt, and they will receive a free shirt with their design. The submission deadline is October 4th. Please email any submissions to the officer e-mail. Designs must be mono-color, and vector formats from tools such as Adobe Illustrator are best.
